Director of Financial Reporting

The Consultancy Group have partnered with a Global Business Services organisation who are looking to recruit a Director of Financial Reporting to join their Senior Leadership team. As Director of Financial Reporting, this role will report into the CFO and will own the delivery of financial management, assurance, and advice to the region in this global listed business. Duties include:

• Own the accounting for all trading and financial results, including planning and reporting across all operating divisions across the region.

• Lead role in the statutory reporting and audit, along with cash and balance sheet production.

• As part of the wider leadership team, offer support and advice to inform key strategic decisions and projects.

• Lead, develop and manage a team of up to 20 across multiple locations.

• Drive process and financial control improvements across the end to end of finance outputs.

• Manage and support multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization

• Lead financial commercial insight across the region to help set strategic direction, initiatives, and priorities.

The successful candidate will be ACA Qualified with 10+ years post-qualification experience working in a complex matrix-based organisation. They will have a global mindset with the ability to show cultural agility and have a track record of delivering successful results in complex commercial situations. They will possess strong financial acumen, including technical accounting, finance systems, operational and financial planning as well as contractual/risk management. Excellent humility and listening skills, coupled with communication and negotiation skills at all levels are essential as is the confidence and ability to influence and gain results at all levels.
