Following a period of significant expansion, the business is seeking to appoint a Global Head of FP&A to lead the next phase of its financial planning, performance management and decision-support capability. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-profile role at the centre of the organisation's growth strategy and transformation journey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the quality of forecasting, reporting and commercial insight across the business whilst building a best-in-class FP&A function capable of supporting a complex and rapidly evolving international organisation.

This role offers a rare combination of strategic influence and hands-on leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to operate comfortably at both board and operational levels, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business while maintaining a detailed understanding of performance drivers, data quality and financial outputs.

For an ambitious FP&A leader, this represents an exceptional opportunity to shape the future financial capability of a growing international business whilst establishing themselves as a trusted advisor to both executive leadership and investors.

Key Responsibilities

FP&A Leadership

  • Lead the Global FP&A delivery, establishing best practice planning, forecasting and performance management processes.

  • Own the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting cycles and long-range strategic planning.

  • Develop and enhance three-year business plans, supporting strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

  • Create meaningful, actionable reporting frameworks that improve visibility of business performance across multiple revenue streams and international operations.

  • Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations to the CFO, Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders.

Commercial Insight & Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to senior operational and commercial leaders across the organisation.

  • Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and support investment decisions through robust financial analysis.

  • Translate complex financial information into clear and actionable commercial insights.

  • Drive accountability around business performance and KPI delivery.

Transformation & Systems

  • Play a key leadership role in the continued transformation of the finance function.

  • Improve data quality, consistency and governance across multiple systems and geographies.

  • Design and implement enhanced FP&A processes, reporting tools and planning capabilities.

  • Support ongoing finance systems and business transformation programmes, ensuring the FP&A function evolves alongside the wider organisation.

  • Champion automation, standardisation and the use of technology and Ai to improve financial visibility and decision-making.

Performance Management & Investor Readiness

  • Develop and maintain KPI frameworks that provide meaningful insights into business performance.

  • Ensure reporting outputs consistently meet the expectations of senior leadership, investors and external stakeholders.

  • Support strategic initiatives through detailed scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and business case evaluation.

  • Establish robust forecasting and reporting disciplines that enhance transparency, predictability and operational performance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across finance, commercial, operational and leadership teams globally.

  • Act as a key interface between the finance function and wider business stakeholders.

  • Respond effectively to changing priorities and requests within a fast-paced private equity-backed environment.

  • Influence decision-making at senior levels through credibility, commercial acumen and high-quality analysis.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced FP&A leader who thrives within ambitious, fast-moving and evolving environments.

Essential Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating at pace.

  • A strong leader capable of bringing people on a transformation journey.
